Bone Marrow (BM) / Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs)
Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (BMMCs)
ProteoGenex collects viable bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMCs) isolated from bone marrow aspirates.
Processing and Storage:
- BMMCs are processed within 2-3 hours, and frozen within 4 hours of bone marrow aspiration (in freezing media containing 10% DMSO).
- BMMC viability is checked immediately before freezing and only vials with at least 95% viability are kept and stored.
- Each vial of BMMC contains at least 1×107 cells.
- ProteoGenex guarantees at least 60% viability after proper thaw.
- BMMCs are stored and shipped in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen (-190°C).
BMMCs from patients with Hematological Malignancies are regularly collected and available in our inventory.
BMMCs can also be prospectively collected from other conditions upon request.
Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs)
ProteoGenex collects viable peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) isolated from whole blood.
Processing and Storage:
- PBMCs are processed within 2-3 hours, and frozen within 4 hours of blood collection (in freezing media containing 10% DMSO).
- PBMC viability is checked immediately before freezing and only vials with at least 95% viability are kept and stored.
- Each vial of PBMC contains at least 1×107 cells.
- ProteoGenex guarantees at least 60% viability after proper thaw.
- PBMCs are stored and shipped in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen (-190°C).
PBMCs from patients with Hematological Malignancies are regularly collected and available in our inventory.
PBMCs can also be prospectively collected from other conditions upon request.
